What about labs? We use your insurance to cover the cost of lab testing when it is needed. In some cases, those with high deductibles or no insurance may choose to use our relationship with LabCorp for more affordable access. There is no cost for a basic urinalysis, urine pregnancy & in-clinic strep testing. Have a question about a specific lab cost? Just ask! Most of our uninsured patients pay $40/year for labs if they have no chronic health conditions and need only routine monitoring (CBC, CMP, TSH, A1C, Lipids).
What about specialists, imaging or other screening tests? We want to make the most of your insurance coverage for every service outside our office. We’ll provide the diagnosis codes and referrals to keep you connected with your existing healthcare team.
